Promises

Posts have been sparse 'round here, but I promise you, we're working hard. Here's the news:

We're increasing our web-presence by joining all the cool kids on MySpace. Be our friend at myspace.com/seamrippers

Speaking of web-presence, our brand-new beautiful website is currently in the works. I wouldn't want to tempt fate by setting a launch date, but I promise, you'll be enjoying hours of online craftiness very soon. It's www.seamrippers.org now, in case you thought we still rode the .ca train.

Here it comes, what you've all been waiting for... Seamrippers is getting set to release a BRAND NEW CALENDAR! All of our Feb/Mar workshops and events will be finding their way to your fridges and bulletin boards in just two short weeks. Promise. Please let us know if you are able to help with distribution, we'd love to spread these things all over the city.

Happy crafting.

We're back!

Hello crafty friends,
Seamrippers has been inactive since we lost our space on East Pender St. this past February and we are still homeless. However we are finally getting our act together and beginning to organize..again, we are planning a series of craft workshops and social events that will begin in the new year. We are also fundraising and searching for a new location for our craft center for the spring. So, if you hear of any great, inexpensive commercial spaces available send us an email!
Here is a photo from our most recent, and very cute breakfast meeting, notice the crocheted chicken egg cozies!
